After flying high against the Mary M. Knight Owls last Saturday, the Clallam Bay Bruins came back down to earth. Clallam Bay's tough 60-38 defeat to Crescent on Tuesday might stick with them for a while. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat Clallam Bay has suffered yet this season.
Crescent got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Henry Bourm out in front who scored 17 points along with seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Lukas Love, who scored eight points along with ten rebounds and three steals.
Clallam Bay's defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-4. As for Crescent, their win was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-2.
Clallam Bay will head out on the road to face off against Neah Bay at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Neah Bay will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak. As for Crescent, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Chief Kitsap Academy at 7:15 p.m. Chief Kitsap Academy comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
