Uniontown has gone 8-2 against Oswego recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Eagles will welcome the Indians at 4:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Uniontown has six straight wins, Oswego has 17 straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

While Uniontown didn't have the best season last year (they finished 6-8), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They put the hurt on Jayhawk Linn with a sharp 17-5 victory on Thursday. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won six contests by ten runs or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Oswego came up short against Yates Center on Monday, falling 17-7. That's two games in a row now that the Indians have lost by exactly ten runs.

Demitri Williamson and Connor Minor did some serious damage despite the final result: Williamson scored a run and stole two bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances, while Minor scored a run while going 2-for-4. Williamson is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's snagged at least one every time he's taken the field this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Wyatt McClure, who scored a run while going 3-for-3.

Uniontown pushed their record up to 6-2 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Oswego, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-6.

Uniontown took their win against Oswego when the teams last played back in May of 2023 by a conclusive 19-0 score. Do the Eagles have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Indians turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
