Wake Christian Academy is a perfect 3-0 against GRACE Christian since April of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. Wake Christian Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against GRACE Christian at 5:00 p.m. Wake Christian Academy has given up an average of 16 runs per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Wake Christian Academy's offense. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 15-0 to Rocky Mount Academy, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, GRACE Christian entered their tilt with Franklin Academy on Tuesday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They blew past the Patriots 11-1. Considering the Eagles have won four contests by more than nine runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Lilly McGuire was excellent, scoring two runs while going 2-for-2. She also put up a double, which was her first of the season. Caroline Gausman was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.

GRACE Christian hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Franklin Academy struck out 13 times.

GRACE Christian pushed their record up to 5-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.4 runs over those games. As for Wake Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Thursday's matchup will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Wake Christian Academy hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .409. However, it's not like GRACE Christian struggles in that department as they've averaged .428. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
