Mt. Zion took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Friday. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 49-0 victory over the Limestone Rockets. The Braves have beaten the Rockets the last seven times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Rockets has come to flipping the script.

Mt. Zion had a senior duo take command as Keller Stocks threw for 189 yards and five TDs while completing 92.3% of his passes and Jacob Harvey picked up 150 receiving yards and three touchdowns. Harvey showed off some serious burst, lighting up the secondary with a catch for 65 yards.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mt. Zion will square off against Rochester at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Limestone, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Galesburg at 7:30 p.m.
