John Curtis Christian put their dominant pitchers on display in the team's third consecutive shutout on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 15-0 margin over the Edna Karr Cougars. Considering the Patriots have won six matchups by more than nine runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

John Curtis Christian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. With the defeat, Edna Karr broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 8-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. John Curtis Christian will face off against Patrick Taylor Science & Tech Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
