Whitefield Academy hadn't done well against King's Ridge Christian recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Whitefield Academy WolfPack claimed a resounding 81-38 win over the King's Ridge Christian Tigers. The WolfPack have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matches by 20 points or more this season.

Whitefield Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Hailey Houlder, who went 8 for 17 en route to 26 points in addition to eight assists and seven rebounds. Houlder's evening made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Amelia Newman, who went 11 of 16 on her way to 28 points along with eight boards and four steals.

Whitefield Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in 24 consecutive contests.

Whitefield Academy's record is now 15-9. As for King's Ridge Christian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season.

Whitefield Academy will venture away from home to face off against St. Francis at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for King's Ridge Christian, they will host Mount Pisgah Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
