Cloquet barely beat Chisago Lakes Area the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Lumberjacks were the clear victors by a 7-1 margin over the Wildcats on Monday. Considering the Lumberjacks have won six games by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

The win (which was Cloquet's fifth in a row) raised their record to 11-4. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for Chisago Lakes Area, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-9.

Coming up, Cloquet will square off against Esko at 4:30 p.m. on the 19th. As for Chisago Lakes Area, they will challenge Hermantown at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
