Even if Bartram Trail couldn't beat Palatka on Tuesday, underclassman Rommeney Patrey still had a big game. Patrey wasn't messing around, striking out eight batters over six innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits. The pitching appearance was her 15th straight with five or more strikeouts.

Coming up, Patrey and Bartram Trail will head out on the road to take on Buchholz at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Sadly, Patrey's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Bears' five-game streak of wins on the road. With the streak broken, Patrey and the Bears surely have a bit of extra motivation heading into Wednesday's match.
