Monroe took an ego-bruising loss against Wilson Magnet two weeks ago, but they kept their chin up and bounced back on Saturday. Monroe put the hurt on Edison Tech/School Without Walls with a sharp 42-12 victory. The high-flying offensive effort was a definite turnaround from Monroe's flat performance the matchup before.
The win got Monroe back to even at 3-3. The defeat dropped Edison Tech/School Without Walls' record to 1-5.
Next week Monroe take on Webster Thomas at 7:00 PM. Webster Thomas are limping into the game on a four-game losing streak. As for Edison Tech/School Without Walls, they will face off against Wilson Magnet. Given that they both suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.
