Leading Pee Dee Academy to victory were Hughes Elvington and Colby Richardson. Elvington scored 17 points along with 5 steals, while Richardson scored 21 points along with 5 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Miles Trussell, who scored 9 points along with 5 rebounds.
Marlboro Academy has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season. As for Pee Dee Academy, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Marlboro Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Christ the Cornerstone Academy on December 11th. As for Pee Dee Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Lee Academy at 12:00 p.m. on Monday.
