The Roosevelt Roughriders will face off against the Thompson Valley Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Roosevelt barely beat Severance the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Roughriders claimed a resounding 41-6 win over the Silver Knights. The victory continues a trend for the Roughriders in their matchups with the Silver Knights: they've now won four in a row.

Roosevelt had a senior duo take command as Milo Pascual rushed for 238 yards and one TD while picking up 10.8 yards per carry and Ryder Tymkowych rushed for 140 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only ten carries. With that strong performance, Pascual is now averaging an impressive 114.2 rushing yards per game. Another player making a difference was Jasiah Ramirez, who threw for 121 yards and one TD.
Roosevelt was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 385 rushing yards. They are a perfect 4-0 when they've run for more than 200 yards.
Roosevelt didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Noah Lucero and Houston Howell. Thomas Dunn was another major factor on D, picking up a sack, forcing one fumble, and making 13 total tackles (2.5 for loss).
Meanwhile, Thompson Valley really took it to Fort Morgan for the full four quarters, racking up a 45-14 win. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 24-0.
Thompson Valley's win came from a few key players Roosevelt will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Tristin Hill, who rushed for 171 yards and a pair of scores while picking up 10.7 yards per carry. Those 171 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. Karter Christiansen was another key player, rushing for 138 yards and one touchdown while picking up 8.1 yards per carry.
Thompson Valley's victory bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Roosevelt, their win bumped their record up to 5-3.
