Norristown is on a nine-game streak of home losses, Upper Perkiomen a six-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck is about to change. The Norristown Eagles will take on the Upper Perkiomen Indians at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Norristown comes in on a streak of failing to score more than six points in their last three games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 35-6, which was the final score in Norristown's tilt against Spring-Ford on Friday. Norristown was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-0.
The losing side was boosted by Rashon Giddens, who picked up 92 receiving yards and a touchdown. Giddens' longest reception was for an incredible 92 yards.
Meanwhile, Upper Perkiomen was the victim of a rough 42-21 loss at the hands of Pottsgrove on Friday.
The losses dropped Norristown to 0-9 and Upper Perkiomen to 1-8.
Norristown took their win against Upper Perkiomen when the teams last played back in October of 2019 by a conclusive 42-21. Will Norristown repeat their success, or does Upper Perkiomen have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
