Bloomingdale waltzed into their contest on Monday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They put the hurt on the Newsome Wolves with a sharp 10-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Bulls, who have now won nine games by seven runs or more so far this season.

Luke Long looked comfortable as he struck out nine batters over 3.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit (and not a single walk). He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in six consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Evan Plusquellic was incredible, firing off two home runs and seven RBI while going 2-for-3. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in runs (two). Cesar Campos was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI.

Bloomingdale hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least two batters in three consecutive matchups.

Bloomingdale's record is now 11-2. As for Newsome, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-8.

Bloomingdale has already played their next contest, a 15-1 win against Lennard on the 17th. As for Newsome, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 7-1 loss against Durant on the 17th.
