That's the first time she hasn't allowed a single hit since back in March of 2024. She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one double and one RBI.
Miller wasn't the only one making solid contact as two players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Landry Miller, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.
Rocky Mount Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Grace Christian, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rocky Mount Academy will challenge Halifax Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Grace Christian, they will venture away from home to face off against Lawrence Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
