The Parsippany Redhawks will be playing at home against the Parsippany Hills Vikings at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Hopefully Parsippany focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up nine on Thursday.
Last Thursday, Parsippany escaped with a win against Boonton by the margin of a single free throw, 43-42. Despite the victory, that was the fewest points Parsippany has scored all season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Parsippany to victory, but perhaps none more so than Thomas Niedermaier, who scored 17 points along with six rebounds and three steals. Niedermaier is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of David Niedermaier, who scored 11 points along with two steals.
Meanwhile, Parsippany Hills pushed their score all the way to 64 on Thursday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 74-64 to Phillipsburg. That's two games in a row now that Parsippany Hills has lost by exactly ten points.
The win got Parsippany back to even at 4-4. As for Parsippany Hills, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-4 record this season.
Parsippany might still be hurting after the 66-44 loss they got from Parsippany Hills when the teams last played back in February of 2023.
