Burnsville scored the most points they've had this season on Tuesday, but it wasn't enough. They took a 71-65 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lakeville South Cougars. The loss continues a trend for the Blaze in their matchups with the Cougars: they've now lost four in a row.

Burnsville's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Lakeville South, their victory bumped their record up to 4-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Burnsville and Andover will compete for holiday cheer at 8:30 p.m. on Friday. Andover knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matches -- so hopefully Burnsville likes a good challenge. As for Lakeville South, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Lakeville South Cougars challenge the Eagan Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Eagan will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Lakeville South surely won't give up without a fight.
