The Yale Bulldogs put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against Marine City as Yale made off with a 60-40 win. That 60-40 margin sets a new team best for Yale this season.
Marine City's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jonathan Hand, who scored 16 points. Those 16 points set a new season-high mark for Hand. Liam Adams was another key contributor, scoring four points along with 14 rebounds.
Yale's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Marine City, their defeat was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-4.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Yale will face off against Richmond at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Marine City, they will head out on the road to face off against Madison at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
