Fairfield won the last time they faced Grayville and things went their way on Tuesday too. Fairfield blew past Grayville 12-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Mules.

Olivia Smith was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Smith was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in two of her four plate appearances.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Kenry Hutchcraft, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-3. Another player making a difference was Peyton Harvey, who scored two runs and stole a base.

Fairfield always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .548. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Grayville only posted an OBP of .227.
