Brennan Lindner Delivers Best Effort of Season
Brennan Lindner produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Pleasanton to the win on Friday. Lindner rushed for 123 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries, and also threw for 177 yards and two touchdowns, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. His longest rush was for an impressive 69 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
The win for Pleasanton keeps them at an undefeated 7-0. Lindner and Pleasanton will venture away from home to challenge Sandhills Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Conner Paulsen stepped things up a notch to give South Loup the 'W'. Ravenna had no answer to Paulsen as he rushed for 71 yards and two touchdowns, and also picked up 39 receiving yards and a touchdown.
South Loup pushed their record up to 5-2 with the win, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season. Paulsen and South Loup will face off against Arcadia/Loup City at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Sandhills Valley Gets a Boost from Connell in 26-22 Victory
Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Leyton Connell stepped things up a notch to give Sandhills Valley the 'W'. Arcadia/Loup City had no answer to Connell as he rushed for 73 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 75 yards and two touchdowns.
On the season, Connell has thrown 14 touchdowns while averaging 143.1 passing yards per game. It gets even more impressive: after seven games last season, he was only averaging 4.14 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 51.57 rushing yards.

Aj Starr Makes It Two for South Loup
