 In other batting news, Tippecanoe got a  massive  performance out of  Braden Burgbacher, who  scored three  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances. Another player making a difference was  Preston Zumwalt, who  went 2-for-4 with four  RBI, two  runs,  and a  double.
 West Carrollton's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Tippecanoe, their victory bumped their record up to 5-1.
