Chase Smucker continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 26 points. He has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last three times he's played. Dean Herr was another key contributor, scoring five points along with five rebounds and four steals.
Donegal suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Thursday. They were beaten by Lancaster Catholic 66-37.
Lampeter-Strasburg is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. As for Donegal, they now have a losing record at 5-6.
Lampeter-Strasburg was able to grind out a solid win over Donegal in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, winning 54-47. The rematch might be a little tougher for Lampeter-Strasburg since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
