Fowlerville got themselves on the board against Eaton Rapids on Friday, but Eaton Rapids never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Greyhounds with a sharp 10-0 win. The Gladiators might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matches by six runs or more this season.

Fowlerville got a massive performance out of Erik Helminen, who went 3-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most runs Helminen has posted since back in April. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacob Hardies, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one run.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Fowlerville, bringing their record up to 7-9. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Eaton Rapids, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season.

Fowlerville will have a chance to go back-to-back against Eaton Rapids: the pair will be back at it again later today.
