Yale has enjoyed the comforts of home their last three games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will square off against the Hominy Bucks at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Friday, Yale ended up a good deal behind Olive and lost 47-33. While losing is never fun, Yale can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 369th, while Olive is ranked 177th).
Meanwhile, Hominy was the victim of a rough 66-44 defeat at the hands of Pawhuska on Tuesday. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Hominy in their matchups with Pawhuska: they've now lost four in a row.
Yale's defeat was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 0-4. As for Hominy, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.
Yale was dealt a bruising 49-10 loss at the hands of Hominy in their previous matchup back in February. Can Yale avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
