Softball Recap: Gooding Has No Trouble Against Declo

Gooding barely beat Declo the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Senators blew past the Hornets 12-2 on Monday. Considering the Senators have won nine games by more than six runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Gooding's win bumped their record up to 11-6. As for Declo, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-9.

Coming up, Gooding will face off against Filer at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Declo, they will take on Wendell at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Hornets' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Trojans have averaged an impressive 12.3 runs per game this season.
