The Ferndale Wildcats extended their postseason success on Friday against the Fairfax Lions. They came out on top against the Lions by a score of 29-21. The victory was familiar territory for Ferndale who now have six in a row.
Despite the loss, Fairfax still got an impressive performance from Sebastian Ikolo, who picked up 179 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Ferndale has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. As for Fairfax, their loss dropped their record down to 10-5.
Ferndale does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Fairfax also has no future games currently scheduled.
