Leading Papillion-LaVista South to victory were Bryson Bahl and Reece Kircher. Bahl scored 18 points along with 9 rebounds, while Kircher scored 19 points along with 5 assists. That makes it two consecutive games in which Bahl has scored at least 25% of Papillion-LaVista South's points. Another player making a difference was Grant Beckenhauer, who scored 6 points.
Millard West's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Cooper Fortune, who scored 11 points along with 3 steals. Reece Carson was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with 5 assists.
Papillion-LaVista South's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Millard West, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
