Palatka scaled the state rankings by moving to 129 from 157 this week, the biggest jump in 5A District 4. The Panthers were able to move up by beating St. Augustine 23-20.
Ponte Vedra lost to Merritt Island 42-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Menendez's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Stefan Carter threw for 40 yards and Adam Taylor had 21 yards receiving. On the ground Trevon Bryant contributed 207 yards. Eric Davis helped Menendez's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 12 yards.

The Sharks' Zach Wawrzyniak and Austin Reyes have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. 6-1 quarterback Wawrzyniak has thrown for 1,078 yards this season, while Reyes has 31 catches for 342 yards. Menendez's Bryant leads the league in rushing yards with 1,490.
Clay's Shannon Asbell needs only 56 yards against Ribault next week to surpass 1,000 rushing yards for the season. In 175 carries Asbell has put up 944 yards this year.
Patrick Turner's team and Oakleaf played the most contested game in the league this week, with Patrick Turner's team eventually emerging with a 43-40 victory. Carter ran for 198 yards in the win.
