Myrtle Beach never let their opponents score on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Socastee Braves with a sharp 7-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Seahawks, who have now won five matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

The result came thanks to Sinclair Bolick's shutout, as he gave up just three hits. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Myrtle Beach is 2-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 3-9 otherwise.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Gibson Goodroe, who scored a run while going 2-for-4. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in RBI (three). Byron Cooksey was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.

Myrtle Beach's victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-10. As for Socastee, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-11.

Myrtle Beach will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Braves: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
