Jaxen Whitehurst was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double. That's the most stolen bases he has posted over his last five games.
Great Bridge is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.8 runs over those games. As for Indian River, their loss dropped their record down to 5-10.
