Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lomira). Everything went their way against the Omro Foxes on Thursday as they made off with a 12-2 win. The victory continues a trend for the Lions in their matchups with the Foxes: they've now won eight in a row.

Lomira's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Omro, they dropped their record down to 1-2 with the loss, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lomira will head out to take on Markesan at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Lions 3.2, the Hornets 3.2) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Omro, they are taking a road trip to challenge St. Lawrence Seminary at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
