Cypress Creek is 1-0 against Parrish Community since October of 2022, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Cypress Creek Coyotes will be playing at home against the Parrish Community Bulls at 7:30 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Cypress Creek comes in on seven and Parrish Community on five.
Last Thursday, Cypress Creek got themselves on the board against Wesley Chapel, but Wesley Chapel never followed suit. They breezed by the Wildcats on the road to the tune of 35-0. The result was nothing new for Cypress Creek, who have now won six games by 21 points or more so far this season.
Cypress Creek's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jack Niemann, who threw for 102 yards and two touchdowns. The team also got some help courtesy of Malachi Askin, who rushed for 109 yards and a touchdown.
Meanwhile, Parrish Community was able to grind out a solid victory over Braden River on Friday, taking the game 35-28.
Parrish Community's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jackson Volz led the charge by throwing for 345 yards and two touchdowns while completing 74.2% of his passes. Another player making a difference was Lane Tomlinson, who picked up 148 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Their wins bumped Cypress Creek to 7-0 and Parrish Community to 6-1.
Keep an eye on the end zone in Friday's game as the pair haven't had much trouble getting there this season. Cypress Creek commands a daunting offense this season, having averaged 6.3 touchdowns per game. However, it's not like Parrish Community struggles in that department as they've been averaging 5 per game. With these two high-octane teams facing off on Friday, fans should be in for an exciting offensive matchup.
