Andrews has gone 9-1 against Seminole recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Mustangs will be playing in front of their home fans against the Indians at 5:00 p.m. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.
The scorekeeper got an easy start on Thursday as neither Andrews nor Pecos made it on the board until the sixth inning. The Mustangs came out on top in a nail-biter against the Eagles, sneaking past 6-4. The win was familiar territory for the Mustangs, who have now won three matchups in a row.

Georgia Lambert was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out seven batters over 6.1 innings while giving up four earned runs off five hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. She was even better at the plate, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two doubles.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Addison Fields, who went 2-for-4 with two runs and one RBI. Marlee Vasquez was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI.
Andrews was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. They are 17-1 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Meanwhile, it may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Seminole ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 16-15 victory over Greenwood. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Indians have posted since February 12th.
Monica Morin was incredible, firing off two home runs and four RBI while going 3-for-4. That's the most hits she has posted since back in March of 2025. Another player making a difference was Valerie Reyes, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, four runs, and two RBI.
Seminole now has a winning record of 13-12. As for Andrews, their victory bumped their record up to 22-8.
Monday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Andrews hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .383. However, it's not like Seminole struggles in that department as they've averaged .447. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Andrews got the 'W' when the teams last played two weeks ago against Seminole by a conclusive 18-4 score. Will the Mustangs repeat their success, or do the Indians have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
