If Haven was riding high fresh off their 12-2 takedown of Remington on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wildcats fell just short of the Larned Indians by a score of 8-6 on Thursday. The Wildcats' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Haven's loss dropped their record down to 10-3. As for Larned, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-6 record this season.

Larned wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 9-3 victory against Hillsboro on the 22nd. Hopefully Haven paid attention to the Indians' contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Indians on Thursday.
