Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Charles City). They walked away with an 80-68 win over the New Hampton Chickasaws on Tuesday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Comets with their most commanding win of the season.

The victory got Charles City back to even at 3-3. As for New Hampton, their loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-5.

Charles City will head out to square off against Waukon at 8:15 p.m. on Friday. As for New Hampton, they will be home for the holidays to greet Crestwood at 8:15 p.m. on Friday.
