Elliot Douda posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Tuesday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, striking out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than two walks in nine consecutive appearances.
