Sulphur Bluff lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Emerson Fite, who scored 12 points along with eight rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Ana Servin, who scored nine points along with three steals.
Blue Ridge's victory ended a nine-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-12. As for Sulphur Bluff, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season.
