The Lone Peak Big Horns's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their third straight loss. They lost to Jefferson on the road by a decisive 65-49 margin. Lone Peak lost against Jefferson in their previous head to head back in December of 2023, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 78-41 score last time.
Hunter Stevens continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Jefferson, scoring 22 points along with six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Marcus Lee, who scored ten points along with nine rebounds.
Lone Peak has been struggling recently, as they've lost six of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-6 record this season. As for Jefferson, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-4.
Lone Peak will take on Ennis at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Jefferson, they will head out on the road to square off against Manhattan at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
