When it comes to explaining why Skyline lost, one person who can't be blamed is Andy Erives. Despite the final result, he scored 17 points. Those 17 points set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Talan Starcevich, who scored eight points along with 12 rebounds.
Skyline's loss was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 3-6. As for Thompson Valley, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.
