Pearsall extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Ayden Rodriguez. The Mavericks simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat the Rocksprings Angoras 87-29 for which the team can thank Rodriguez, who shot 65% from the field en route to 32 points along with seven rebounds and five steals. He has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last eight times he's played.

Pearsall's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Rocksprings, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Pearsall wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 51-46 victory against Southside on the 20th. Rocksprings has also already played their next contest (against San Antonio Memorial), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
