Baseball Recap: North Tahoe Has No Trouble Against Silver Stage

North Tahoe got themselves on the board against Silver Stage on Tuesday, but Silver Stage never followed suit. They were the clear victors by an 11-0 margin over the Nighthawks. The result was nothing new for the Lakers, who have now won ten games by six runs or more so far this season.

Noah Glickman was a major factor no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over five innings pitched. Glickman was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Glickman wasn't the only one making solid contact as seven players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Curtis Edmunds, who went 1-for-3 with three RBI and one stolen base. That's the most RBI Edmunds has posted since back in March of 2024. Oscar Whelan also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.

North Tahoe's record now sits at 14-6. As for Silver Stage, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 13 of their last 14 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-17 record this season.

North Tahoe will have a chance to go back-to-back against Silver Stage: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
