Metter has gone 9-1 against Screven County recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Metter Tigers will be playing at home against the Screven County Gamecocks at 5:30 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Metter barely beat McIntosh County Academy the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Metter put the hurt on McIntosh County Academy with a sharp 16-1 win on Friday. The victory continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Buccaneers: they've now won eight in a row.

Meanwhile, Screven County waltzed into their contest on Friday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They came out on top against the Panthers by a score of 7-2. While the Gamecocks didn't have the best season last year (they finished 12-16), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Screven County pushed their record up to 9-3 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Metter, the victory got them back to even at 7-7.

Metter took their win against Screven County in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 16-6. Does Metter have another victory up their sleeve, or will Screven County turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
