The Mother Seton Setters will head out on the road to take on the Wardlaw Hartridge Rams at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Friday, Mother Seton was able to grind out a solid victory over South Amboy, taking the game 33-20. Given Mother Seton's advantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 139th, while South Amboy is ranked 346th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Wardlaw Hartridge beat Perth Amboy Vo-Tech 30-25 on Friday. The victory was just what Wardlaw Hartridge needed coming off of a 56-23 loss in their prior matchup.
Mother Seton pushed their record up to 7-2 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Wardlaw Hartridge, their victory bumped their record up to 7-3.
Mother Seton beat Wardlaw Hartridge 26-18 in their previous meeting back in December of 2023. Will Mother Seton repeat their success, or does Wardlaw Hartridge have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
