Volleyball Recap: Childress' Run of Three Straight Victories Now Over

If Childress was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Highland Park on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bobcats fell 2-0 to the All Saints Episcopal School Patriots on Friday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bobcats of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2022.

While Childress was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-14.

Leading All Saints Episcopal School to victory were AJ Ross and Breanna Simons. Ross had six digs and three aces, while Simons had 12 assists and three aces. Those 12 assists gave Simons a new career-high.
