Elysian Fields put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They breezed past the Beckville Bearcats to the tune of 48-21. For the Yellowjackets, this counts as revenge for the 60-28 win the Bearcats walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.
Beckville's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Grayson Hicks, who rushed for 24 yards and one touchdown, and also caught one score. Gabe Johnson also helped out with an impressive 108 receiving yards.
Elysian Fields' victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Beckville, they now have a losing record of 2-3.
