King City/Union Star have had to suffer through a 3-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They put a hurting on Rock Port to the tune of 66-20. Followers of King City/Union Star probably expected little less of the team in a season in which they have collected three blowout victories.
King City/Union Star started the contest off right with 42 first-half points. Rock Port countered with 6 points, leaving the score at 42-6 going into the half. King City/Union Star's offense just added to that total in the second half en route to their big win. The win got them back to even at 3-3. The loss dropped Rock Port's record to 4-2.
Next week King City/Union Star take on Braymer/Breckenridge at 7:00 PM. Braymer/Breckenridge took a loss in their last match and are no doubt out to reverse King City/Union Star's good fortune. As for Rock Port, they will face off against Southwest/Hale/Tina-Avalon.
