Laconia (Rosendale, Wis.).
After taking the lead on a touchdown run by
Austin Jackson in the second quarter, the Spartans led 13-7 at the half.
Laconia expanded its lead to 12 points entering the fourth quarter. LHS scored once in the quarter on a defensive touchdown.
Brandon Shiley made a difference for the Chargers. The junior wide receiver caught one touchdown.
The Rosendale school's standout player in the win was
Cody Moon. The senior running back ran for two touchdowns. He has now scored 25 touchdowns on the season.
Kettle Moraine Lutheran's lone touchdown came on a 7-yard pass from
Jared Henning to Shiley in the second quarter.
The Spartans went into the matchup giving up only 13.6 points per game.
The victory is a complete turnaround from last season's game between these two teams, which KML took, 41-6.
