Peyton Fillinger turned in yet another pitching appearance with fewer than two earned runs surrendered on Monday. He struck out nine batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. He was dominant the last time he took on Miller back in April of 2024, so they probably should've seen this coming. Fillinger has become a key player for Grove City Christian: the team is 2-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 1-6 otherwise.

Looking ahead, Fillinger and Grove City Christian are taking a road trip to square off against Millersport at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
