Lake Howell has won four straight games at home, while Deltona has won four straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Tuesday. The Silverhawks will host the Wolves at 7:00 p.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Lake Howell 3.5, Deltona 1.1) so any runs scored will be well earned.
While Lake Howell's win against Seminole wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Silverhawks sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 9-8 victory over the Seminoles on Monday.

Rhianna Hudson was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over 4.1 innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two doubles and one RBI. Those two doubles gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Cate Haggerty, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Skaii Rodriguez, who scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
Meanwhile, Deltona never let their opponents score on Thursday. Everything went their way against Jensen Beach as they made off with a 10-0 win. Considering the Wolves have won four matches by more than nine runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
Deltona also got a great performance from Tessa Guenette as she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out seven over five innings pitched.
On the hitting side, Kaitlyn Caruso was excellent, going 2-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. Jaylene Mieres was another key player, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.
Deltona hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Jensen Beach struck out eight times.
Lake Howell has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.9 runs on average over those games. As for Deltona, their win bumped their record up to 7-1.
Both Lake Howell and Deltona just can't seem to miss. The Silverhawks have been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 8.7 hits per game. However, it's not like Deltona struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 3.4 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance. Come back here after the game to get an analysis of the match and other softball content.
