It was a good run, but Dighton unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-match winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Wheatland-Grinnell Thunderhawks by a score of 2-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Thunderhawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 last Monday.

Dighton's defeat dropped their record down to 22-12. As for Wheatland-Grinnell, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 22-13 record this season.

Dighton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Trego on the 14th. As for Wheatland-Grinnell, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Golden Plains on the 14th.
