Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Turtle Lake). They enjoyed a cozy 76-58 victory over the Luck Cardinals on Friday. Given the Lakers' advantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 111th, while the Cardinals are ranked 267th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The win made it two in a row for Turtle Lake and bumps their season record up to 4-2. As for Luck, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season.

Turtle Lake will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against Prairie Farm at 1:30 p.m. on Friday. Luck and Spooner will round out the year against one another at at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. Luck is facing Spooner at the right time seeing as Spooner is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
